This is a rough outline to provide a feel of the various types of locations around the Valley. One of these days I’m going to divide this up a little better, but for now, it serves as a springboard for the type site you might want to select. 🙂
DESERT LOCATIONS
Not surprisingly there are a lot of stunning Desert Locations around the Valley. Some standouts are: Papago Park, Camelback Mountain are central locations, South Mountain and Scorpion Gulch to the south, McDowell Mountain, Coon Bluff, and the Riparian Preserve to the east, and Thunderbird Conservation Park and Saguaro Ranch Park to the west.
URBAN LOCATIONS
If you are looking for something with an urban appeal, well lets just say it’s all around us. Some standouts locations around the valley are: Roosevelt Row, Heritage Square, Tempe Town Lake, or just about any city center.
PARKS / GREEN LOCATIONS
The Valley has a surprising number of great parks and hidden green gems. The time of year definitely dictates what you get, but with a little planning you can get that springtime look. Great locations range by time of year, but two standouts for year-round greenery is Scottsdale Civic Center and Anthem Park. If you keep a lookout, you can also find many communities also have beautiful green belts and water features.
